VegaEdu gives the librarian a catalogue of titles and copies with rack locations and barcodes. Issue and return take a quick scan against the student or staff record. Students can reserve a book that is out, and the system tracks due dates and fines. Because members come from the main student and staff records, there is no separate library membership list to maintain. The librarian has a dedicated login and dashboard, so library work does not depend on the office. Students can check what they have borrowed and when it is due from the student app, and reports help the librarian plan purchases and stock checks.
